By the time the flowers at the top are blooming the ones at the rear are all but dead and crisy (perhaps I'm doing something wrong!).

Lovely shots, we just had a huge downpour and thunder last night and this morning the sun is shining and the rain is making the plants shimmer and gleam.

Best,

J.James Colbornhttp://web.me.com/james.colborn/James_Garden_Blog/Blog/Blog.htmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6849167564811493528.post-20817802335685617342009-09-02T12:51:57.228+01:002009-09-02T12:51:57.228+01:00Love the seed heads of Paeonia mlokosewitchii. I hated them (only plants I really hated on that visit). Then I sat down to eat a sandwich on the edge of the wild garden and found myself right next to a very attractive large shrubby one - but iwth tiny, graceful flowers.EBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09405771860220362327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6849167564811493528.post-57630275404507936662009-09-01T19:23:05.069+01:002009-09-01T19:23:05.069+01:00That seed head is very impressive and as you sugge...That seed head is very impressive and as you suggest reminds me of my son's mouth after he knocked 3 front teeth out!Helen/patientgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02164036792673009326noreply@blogger.com
